Replacing a Step-Clip for Kebony Deck Board

  1. First, you’ll need a circular saw with a fine carbide blade. Set the depth of the blade to ⅞ of an inch.
  2. Locate the board you wish to replace and cut that board down the center lengthwise.
  3. Use a claw hammer or crowbar to help you pop the cut board out of the Step-Clip strips.
  4. Cut the new board to length, and set the new board into place by placing the grooved board into one side of the clips then stepping the board into the clips on the opposite side of the board.
