The new addition to the Morris Island Residence included the construction of a rooftop deck, and finding a way to access the deck took lots of consideration. The original structure is connected to the new addition by a glass walkway, and the design team wanted to maintain the integrity of that connection. This was achieved by hiding the rooftop deck access staircase in a unique and creative location.
